At PHS, our commitment is to provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment that will empower students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers, and inspired learners who are prepared to thrive in the 21st century. All students are expected to learn to their fullest potential and be actively engaged in the learning process. PHS provides each student a Chromebook laptop computer that is utilized extensively in instructional activities. Learning experiences are further enhanced by grade level teams in grade 9 and academy pathways in grades 10 through 12.
On normal days through the school year, the doors open to students 7:30 a.m. and classes start at 8:05 (first bell 7:55 a.m.) and classes end at 2:50 p.m.
