Perkins High School will have a staggered start for the 2024-2025 school year.
Freshmen will report for their first day of classes on Thursday, August 22. The school day begins at 8:05 a.m., when students will report to their homerooms – homerooms assignments will be posted.
At 8:15 a.m., students, teachers, and staff will go to the PHS Auditorium for a class meeting and orientation. The day will continue with homeroom meetings, locker testing, a review of PHS policies and procedures, and technology and computer updates.

On Friday, August 23, all students, Grades 9-12, will report for classes. Students should report to their homerooms by 8:05 a.m. Class meetings will be held for seniors, juniors, and sophomores, beginning at 8:15 a.m.

New Computers
Perkins Local Schools this school year will be issue new computers to all students across the district. At PHS, students must bring their old Chromebooks and exchange them for new MacBooks on the first day of classes.
Picture Day
Student picture day will be on Friday, August 23.
