Fly Foras Promineo, Fly

Fly Foras Promineo, Fly

The Perkins High School Robotics Club satellite, which was launched into space in September, was deployed earlier today from the International Space Station when it entered low-space orbit over the coast of Brazil.

The satellite was deployed at approximately 4:50 a.m. today.

The satellite, named Foras Promineo, carries a robotic arm that can be controlled via a ground station at Perkins High School. After successful testing, students from across the globe will be able to connect with the satellite and use the arm in zero gravity to move balls.

The Perkins High School Robotics Team, along with mentors and professional partners, have been working on the project since 2021. Congratulations on a successful deployment.
