2025 Homecoming Court Crowned During Coronation Ceremony

Perkins High School seniors Anabelle Wadsworth and De’Shaun Harper were crowned the 2025 Homecoming Queen and King during a coronation ceremony Thursday afternoon.

PHS’s 2024 Homecoming Queen Vivian Venerucci crowned Anabelle. 

The Queen and King, and the rest of this year’s Homecoming Court, will be introduced during a pregame ceremony at the Perkins-Bellevue football game at Firelands Health Stadium. 

The first senior attendants are Makayla Canino and Kash Koch, and the second senior attendants are Breonna Ponting and Mason Adams.

2024 and 2025 Queens

The nominees for queen also included Madison Denbesten, Natalie Mitchel, Brianna Rawlins, and Haylee Yost, and for king included Blake Witter, Hayden Wright, and Joseph Ziegler.

Jessah Stewart and Kaleb Maynard were crowned EHOVE representatives to the court. The nominees for EHOVE also included Cailyn Flynn, Gabrielle Skrinak, Mikayla Spence, Lilly Stock, and Zionna Walker, and Ty Gast and Darryn Swain.

The junior class representatives on the court are Isabella Ramirez and Jaycion Everett. The junior nominees also included Ireland Hart and Lucy Miller; and Phong Bui and Javier Keys.

The sophomore class representatives on the court are Allie Brunner and Stone Link. The sophomore nominees also included Maci Capizzi, Skyler Cahlik, and Ashlyn Lowe; and Danny Buga and Derrious Johnson.

The freshman class representatives on the court are Brenna Carrozzino and Jordan Johnson. The freshman nominees also included Isabella Bleile and Olivia Huffer; and Cayden Greenman-Adcock and Elijah Judy.

As part of PHS tradition, the Queen is presented with a football painted to reflect the theme of this year’s Homecoming Dance, “A Night in Rio.” This year’s football was designed and painted by senior artist Anna Ferback.
